The service
jfif.net offers free browser tools for converting supported JFIF and JPEG images to PNG, JPG or JPEG, PDF, and WebP. No account is required. The tools are intended for ordinary image conversion, not document authentication, archival verification, or damaged-file recovery.
Your files and rights
You keep your rights in your files. Selecting an image does not transfer its ownership to jfif.net. Only process files you own or have permission to use, and follow applicable law. Conversion does not grant additional rights to share or publish someone else’s work.
Do not interfere with the website’s operation or attempt unauthorized access to systems. Processing files locally does not authorize an otherwise unlawful activity.
Check the output before relying on it
Keep the original and inspect the downloaded copy before replacing or deleting it. Browser behavior, device memory, image encoding, orientation, and color profiles can affect conversion or appearance.
There is no guarantee that every file will convert, an app will accept it, or the output will be smaller. Re-encoding may change detail and metadata. A high quality setting does not promise lossless output, and the PDF tool does not perform OCR.
Availability and limits
File and image limits are displayed in the converters. Processing can still fail below those limits if a device lacks sufficient resources. Features and browser support may change as the tools develop; availability and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed.
Privacy and downloaded files
The privacy policy explains local processing, temporary results, and ordinary website requests. Files you download or later share with another service are outside the application’s control.
Responsibility and applicable rights
The tools are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, jfif.net does not guarantee that the service meets a particular requirement and is not responsible for losses from reliance on unchecked conversion results. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
